## Prepare your Android TV and Android phone or tablet

This guide shows you how to open Lynvo on Android TV, log in from an Android phone or tablet, and configure the recommended video players. Lynvo works in any browser, but opening links in the supported external players requires Android.

Install these apps before you begin:

- On your Android TV, install [TV Bro](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phlox.tvwebbrowser)
- On your Android TV, install [Just (Video) Player](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brouken.player)
- On your Android TV, install [VLC for Android](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.videolan.vlc)
- On your Android phone or tablet, install the [Google TV app](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.videos)

## Open Lynvo in TV Bro

Use the Google TV virtual remote to paste Lynvo’s address instead of typing it with the Android TV remote:

1. Open [lynvo.dg02002.workers.dev](https://lynvo.dg02002.workers.dev) on your Android phone or tablet
2. Copy `https://lynvo.dg02002.workers.dev`
3. Open **TV Bro** on your Android TV
4. Open the **Google TV** app on your Android phone or tablet
5. Select your Android TV and open the virtual remote
6. Select the address bar in TV Bro
7. Paste `https://lynvo.dg02002.workers.dev` with the virtual remote keyboard
8. Open the page

If you cannot use the Google TV virtual remote, enter the same address with the Android TV remote or a connected keyboard.

Bookmark Lynvo in TV Bro so you can return without entering the address again.

## Log in from an Android phone or tablet

Complete login on an Android phone or tablet so you do not need to enter account details with the Android TV remote:

1. Select **Log in** on the Lynvo page displayed on your Android TV
2. Select **Use a QR code**
3. Scan the QR code with the Android phone or tablet, then open the Lynvo page that appears
4. Log in to Lynvo on the Android phone or tablet
5. Confirm that the activation code matches the code on the Android TV, then approve the login
6. Return to the Android TV and wait for Lynvo to complete login

If the code expires, select **Generate new code**, then scan the new QR code.

## Set up Remote Play

1. Keep Lynvo open in TV Bro on the Android TV
2. Open Lynvo on the Android phone or tablet you want to use as the remote
3. Select **Remote Play**
4. Select the TV from **Available devices**

If the TV does not appear, confirm that both devices are logged in to the same Lynvo account, keep Lynvo open in TV Bro, then select **Search again**.

## Open a video in a player

Select a saved link to open it in an external Android player. Lynvo chooses the player configured for that link in [**Settings**](/settings/player).

Android TV may ask which app should open a video the first time. Select the
player Lynvo recommends. You can change the default players later in
[**Settings**](/settings/player).
